We need the help of a few dedicated and tenacious volunteers to ensure our Oyster Shell Recycling Program continues its progress towards a cleaner bay! After participating in training, volunteers will be able to sign up for opportunities Monday through Friday and participate independently in all aspects of the shell recycling program including: picking up recycled shells, dropping shells off at the curing pad, and cleaning shell collection buckets.
Volunteers will need:
- the ability to lift at least 35 lbs,
- a personal vehicle capable of carrying up to ten 5-gallon buckets
